CES Bid is a separate program which CES Client users may distribute to their tenderers to enter tendered schedules of rate.  Being a fully compiled program, no extra software is required other than a windows operating system. Both the complete program and data will fit on a single floppy disk (1.44mgb) for easy distribution this also allows fast data transfer via e-mail attachment (if required).

For Clients - CESBid automatically creates the database for distribution purposes from CES automatically calculating total operational quantities for the specified contract.  Options exist to mark operations not required by contractors.  On return from Contractor, Schedules of Rate may be exported and automatically transferred into CES Client for full evaluation purposes.

For Contractors - A user friendly front-end makes using the system a breeze.  An option exists to export the data contained to csv format (for import into other programs such as  a spreadsheet), further options allow users to print schedules of rate, bills of quantity and tender (based on total quantities). A check status screen displays current contract value and number of entered/non-entered schedules of rate.  Clever on-screen colour highlighting ensures any operations not containing rates are easily identified.

Overall - CESBid reduces the element of error that might creep in via manual data-entry of rates into CES. Both Visual Checking and a Status Report ensure all parties are aware of any operations containing no schedule of rate.
